How to fix Remote Desktop Connection in Blank or Blue Desktop


If you encounter a Blue Screen when you connect to Remote Desktop Connection and then you cannot see any icons, start button, and anything on desktop, you can do this to fix the problem:

1. Click Start -> Administrative tools -> Terminal Services Manager

2. Click on USER tab on the right pane. Select the session with the oldest logon time then clicked the right click on mouse and Reset. You can do it also on the SESSION tab.

3. Click Start -> Administrative tools -> Terminal Services Manager

4. Click Actions tab on upper left then select Refresh Servers in All Domain.
